To start driving with Freedom Driving Training School you will need:

a) You must be 17 or over (unless you are receiving Disability Living Allowance in which case you can start learning to drive at 16 years old).

b) You must have a signed, valid provisional driving license.

or in certain circumstances

i) a signed, valid International Driving Permit (IDP)
ii) a full driving license issued outside the UK (check leaflet D100 available from post offices here)

HOW DO I OBTAIN MY PROVISIONAL LICENSE TO ALLOW ME TO START DRIVING LESSONS?

Apply to the DVLA using form D1 which you can obtain from the post office. You must have the signed, valid provisional license with you to start your first lesson.
